MoDOT to close I-64 ramp to Vandeventer, Saturday, 8/17

ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor, Fred Weber Inc., will close the ramp from eastbound I-64 to Vandeventer by 6 a.m. Saturday

The ramp will remain closed until spring 2014 due to construction on the Tower Grove project.

To detour around the closure, drivers will need to exit at Grand, turn onto Forest Park Avenue and turn on Vandeventer.

This work is part of an on-going project to build a full interchange at Tower Grove and Boyle and replace four aging bridges over I-64.  The entire project is projected to be complete in fall 2014.
