Park Central Development is pleased to bring to the Grove community the addition of this art installation by artist Tim Smith. The installation of “Cube Chair” at the art pedestal, located at Manchester Ave. and Sarah, will add a dimension of whimsy, contemplation and fun to the Grove, an art centric entertainment district in St. Louis. Park Central Development thanks Rally STL for this opportunity and we look forward to the experience of having this piece in the neighborhood.
When asked about his work, the artist, states:
“The Sculpted Cube is about relationships but it’s not a commentary on relationships. Rather the Cube Chair is a space where a person can explore his inner self —and the world around him, or where two or more people can experience their relationships. with each other—and the world around them.”
