Colin Suchland, neighborhood resident and graduate student
The 17th Ward (and more specifically Forest Park Southeast and surround neighborhoods) is the subject of an ongoing academic study by Colin E. Suchland, a PhD researcher in sociology at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Suchland lives in the Forest Park Southeast neighborhood and currently is conducting interviews with residents and business owners in the ward. Anyone living, working or building in the 17th is welcome and encouraged to participate in the study, which is focused on urban redevelopment and community.
