2)  August 6:  National Night Out.  Kickball Game and BBQ
Come out and meet some neighbors!  At 6:30pm in Chouteau Park, there will be a kickball game: the Grove business owners versus the FPSE residents.  We will also have a BBQ.  Bring yourself and a friend!  Here’s the National Night Out Flyer.

3)  August 10:  Healthy Neighborhood Corner Store Kick Off
Help us raise awareness that Manchester Market is now trying to offer healthy food options for the neighborhood.  We’ll have a youth cook-off, live music, and more!  Healthy Corner Store Flyer

4)  Mission St. Louis wants to paint your roof white to keep you cool!
Mission: St. Louis has entered the Sustainable Neighborhood Small Grant competition!  If awarded, they want to provide some FPSE residents with new “cool” white roofs!  The benefits of having a white roof are amazing, from lowering your electrical costs, to reducing our carbon footprint.  They will be looking for residents who have newer, flat roofs in fairly good condition to be considered to receive a white roof from the Mission: St. Louis Home Repair team through our “Painting Sustainability” project. Please either contact Mission: St. Louis directly at #314.534.1188 to be put on a list to be evaluated to receive a white roof.   Mission: St. Louis.  4366 Manchester Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110.  www.missionstl.org
