Do you enjoy biking and walking in our neighborhood?  Want to see better opportunities for walking and biking in Forest Park Southeast and throughout the city of St. Louis? Want to see changes that add beauty while doing something good for the environment?

Neighborhood greenways are a way to do this.  Neighborhood greenways are residential streets transformed into low-stress, family-friendly routes that encourage walking and biking.  They include the use of traffic calming measures to reduce the volume and speed of motorized vehicles, as well as public health benefits such as watershed management to reduce storm water runoff and pollution. Neighborhood greenways give priority to people walking and bicycling, and encourage activity which has public health benefits as well.

Join Trailnet to learn about the Neighborhood Greenways St. Louis Project at Joyia on May 29 from 6-8pm. The attached flyer includes time and location information. Refreshments will be provided.
